What if your child’s school offered a cooking class where everything was already taken care of? No kitchen to build, no equipment to purchase, and no ingredients to shop for. Just a fun, hands-on experience that gets kids cooking, learning, and trying something new.
That’s exactly what Sticky Fingers Cooking brings to the table—and getting a class into your child’s school may be easier than you think.
A Cooking Class That Comes to You
Sticky Fingers Cooking is a mobile cooking school for kids ages 3–18. Their chef instructors arrive with everything they need, including equipment and fresh ingredients, so schools don’t have to worry about setting up a kitchen or purchasing supplies.
All they need is a room with tables, chairs, an outlet, and a nearby sink.
Each 60-minute class revolves around a weekly Secret Ingredient, which inspires that day’s hands-on recipe. Along the way, kids get a taste of STEM, cultural exploration, literacy, and nutrition—all while having fun in the kitchen.
While every recipe is nut-free by design, we can and will accommodate all food allergies, so it's even more inclusive.
More Than Just After-School Cooking
Sticky Fingers Cooking offers a variety of programs designed to fit into busy school and family schedules, including:
● After-school enrichment
● Full-day and week-long camps
● Day-off camps for school closures
● Birthday parties
Since 2011, Sticky Fingers Cooking has taught more than one million kids to cook and is now the nation’s largest on-site cooking school.
Here in Central Jersey, they’re already cooking with schools, PTOs, libraries, and recreation departments throughout Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties.
So How Do You Get Cooking at Your School?
This is where you come in.
The recipe is simple: one parent + one two-line email to the person who handles enrichment programs at your child’s school, camp, or recreation center.
That’s it.
If you’d love to see your child’s school add a fun, educational cooking experience, send them an invite. Sticky Fingers Cooking will take it from there.
